Email on your Mobile Device

Before You Begin: You must setup Self Serve Password Reset and Multi Factor Authentication first before you add the account to your phone or table. It's easiest to do so through a browser here http://webmail.ben.edu

Your Benedictine email account is accessible from many types of devices, including cell phones and tablets. The instructions for connecting to your account vary based on the type of device and operating system, but here are the general instructions applicable to all devices.

To get started, you'll need to add an account to your device:

• In iOS, Settings | Mail | Add Account (full instructions here - Login required)
• In most Android versions, Settings | Accounts | Add Accounts (full instructions here - Login required)
  *you may need to Google specific instructions for your type of device

For the account type, choose Exchange.

Use your complete email address (e.g., [e-mail]) and password when prompted for account information.

Don't forget that when you change your Benedictine password you also must update the password on your phone. Android phones are notorious for locking people out of their accounts because of old passwords.
